As Dixville Notch Votes to a Tie, Trump’s Legal Team Springs to Action

When the tiny town of Dixville Notch, NH closed its doors at 12:07 AM and counted up the vote, the result surprised few who had been paying attention to the election the past few weeks: a tie, three votes for Harris, three votes for Trump.

What came next surprised everyone. Or maybe no one.

“STOP THE COUNT!” former president Trump posted on his Truth Social account at 12:12 AM.

“The PEOPLE have spoken, a tie, an election like NEVER before! Save the cats, the dogs, Peanut the squirrel from the immigrants and Kamera the Kommunist and Slow Joe and the liberal HORDE. It’s time for the People’s House to decide, and I know They WILL make the right choice. ME.”

(ed. note: The House of Representatives is constitutionally responsible for settling presidential election ties, but only in the event of an Electoral College tie.)

Trump’s lawyers – led by self-taught lead lawyer Lara Loomer, Esq. – are expected in court at 8:00 Tuesday morning to argue that the election must now be sent to the House of Representatives so they can vote on who will be the next president. The attempt to stop the election after only six votes have been recorded – noted in filing paperwork as “Lawsuit #1” – is unprecedented and widely expected to be unsuccessful.

Unless it is appealed to the Supreme Court, at which point… flip a coin.
